🥳It’s our 200th edition!

To commemorate such an important issue we invite you to embark on a short visualization exercise.

Sit down and imagine your grandchild being born. What does the image around you look like? Who is there? What are people wearing? How are they acting? Where are you? Then take another step into the future, and imagine him or her celebrating his own grandchild’s arrival. What does that house look like? Step into it, look out of the window…what do you see? Then imagine again his or her grand-grand-child being born and all of a sudden it’s new years day 2222 and everyone around you is celebrating, you walk outside of the front door and what do you see?

Below our v i s i o n

A buzzing so strong overwhelms you. Insects, butterflies, and dragonflies are fluttering in every direction. Above you migrating songbirds dive into a nearby lake. A purple and yellow meadow stretches under a canopy of trees and bramble, a mother tree towers in the distance. You notice a meandering path and follow it. You look back and realize the house you just stepped out of is actually a pod covered in moss and ferns. Next to it, someone is busy checking the water molecules for the milpa crop system that surrounds it. Above him, a teenage girl is sitting on a balcony made of roots absorbed in the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying hologram. As you keep walking you notice bisons and wild horses leisurely grazing, and a family of beavers busily building a dam in the river below. Slowly you begin to notice more and more buildings? Houses? Out of nowhere a camouflaged city reveals itself among the thick and alive nature. A sign reads downtown Chicago.
