β¨ Time and Relationships or our Relationship with Time?
Life is dynamic, a flow that we measure with an abstract concept we know as time. We can either be slaves to time or learn to move with it. Ultimately time is our own creation, so we can create the way we relate with it.
Two weeks ago I interviewed an amazing man known as el Coyote. I arrived 20 minutes late to the interview and the first thing I said when I walked through the door was an apology for my tardiness. El Coyote shrugged and said βlook, this is my watchβ and showed me a beautiful beaded bracelet.
What I've recently learned is that time is precious, not as a way to create a chock-a-block schedule that can lead to stress, but as a beautiful offering of respect to the moments we live with. Ultimately, all we have to give to people is ourselves, our energetic bodies.
We often speak of the climate crisis as a part of our future, but if time is a creation then our future does not exist. More and more, eco-nnect is focused on the relationships we have created through the many stories we have shared. More and more, we feel to give our energy to amplify the impact of the projects and people we connect with. It is our offering to this moment, as the climate crisis intensifies and we look to one another to meet the challenges we face.
